Background
Chingis Technology Corporation (Chingis) was founded in 1995 to develop and make commercially viable P-Channel Flash technology.
The result of Chingis' research and development, low power, low voltage pFLASH®, was launched in 1998, is available in various flavors (including, industry standard flash, two-in-one firmware hub/low pin count (FWH/LPC) flash, SPI Serial Flash and embedded flash technologies), and is in high-volume production with UMC, Matsushita and Toshiba.
Today, Chingis is a worldwide corporation, with headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan, and in San Jose, California, and sales offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
Chingis is run by a team of industry veterans who together hold more than 58 patents in IC design, manufacturing and flash memory technologies.
